You don’t need to buy it – rent it from our curated collection. When you need more than the generous amenities included in the venue rental, you can easily shop our catalog of items available for rent, eliminating the need to purchase or work with multiple vendors.
Venue Pricing
Just the Venue
The 228 offers fair and predictable pricing based on the timeframe you choose for your event and the number of guests you expect. Our pricing is the same every day of the year.
When you book an event, your event is the only one on the property during your reserved time.
Prices are based on number of expected guests with a flat 18% gratuity added.
4-Hour Events
We offer two shorter event timeframes on Saturdays. You can choose to have your four-hour event within the 11 am – 3 pm window, or the 5 pm – 9 pm window. Your event is the only one during your timeframe. There may be another event on the same day.
Price is determined by your guest headcount: 0-50, 50-70, 70-92 plus additional items or services plus gratuity.
Weddings and 5-Hour Events
Weddings and other longer and multi-phase events with more planning assistance over a longer period of time, more setup, and cleanup time, and more staffing.
When you book a Wedding or 5-hour event, your event is the only event at the venue on that day.
Price is determined by your guest headcount: 0-50, 50-80, 80-120 plus additional items or services plus gratuity.

When you book the venue, we’ll guide you through the process of creating your event. Our portal for customers who have booked a date for an event provides checklists and schedules to make sure the planning for your event is on track. And throughout the process, we are available for advice on choosing vendors and staying within your budget.
On the day of the event, we’ll make sure the decorating gets done, and that all of your guests are comfortable. And after the event, we’ll pack up the leftovers and any decorating items that you brought in and pack them in your vehicle.
